Nashoba Tech Cosmetology hosted DCF and other local professionals to educate foster families and children with textured hair on how to care for their curls. Our Cosmetology students did braids, coils and twists for kids of all ages while the foster families learned more about how to care for textured hair and practiced techniques on mannequins.
Nashoba Tech sophomore Amon Leon designed the flyer for the Boston Children's Hospital charity Fashion Show for Suicide Awareness. Amon was interviewed by Erin Logan of NBC Boston on the red carpet. The event was held at the Westford Regency.

Nashoba Tech celebrated the ground-breaking of a 7,000 square foot building expansion project for our Robotics, Engineering, and Programming & Web Development Programs and the purchase of equipment upgrades for our Advanced Manufacturing technical program.
This expansion is made possible through a $3,750,000 Chapter 74 Vocational Instructional Space Facility Expansion Grant. A grant that is part of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts Skills Capital Grants Program.
NVTHS Superintendent Pigeon welcomed the many special guests that helped celebrate the ground-breaking. Dr. Patrick Tutwiler, Secretary of Education, was also on hand to officially break ground and also spent time with students as they showcased their senior projects.
Construction of the building should be complete by late August.

Members of the Nashoba Tech Cultures and Communities Club enjoyed a beautiful, delicious authentic Brazilian dinner at Fogo de Chão in Burlington. "We would like to thank the team at Fogo de Chão for donating the meal and a wonderful experience for us" said Ms. Amy St. Arnaud, NT Cultures and Communities Club Advisor.

During February vacation they enjoyed a full day of skiing and as a perk, the students got vouchers for Waterville Valley and Bretton Woods to ski with friends and family. All had an amazing season! Thanks to Mr. Slotnick and Mrs. Larkham who joined us to chaperone!
CONGRATULATIONS to our NVTHS culinary art students who won FIRST place in the entree division at the Taste of Nashoba!
Their fabulous roasted beef tenderloin earned them the first place honor!
And the good news continues......they placed SECOND for presentation.
