Congratulations to the Nashoba Tech Class of 2024!

Hannah McAnulty (Junior) and Kira Taylor (Freshman) submitted essays for the MAFLA student essay contest this year.
MAFLA is the professional organization in MA for language teachers. This year's theme was 'World languages: A Core Subject" and both students reflected on how studying Spanish at Nashoba Tech is important to their goals and future careers.
Hannah, a student in the early childhood program wrote, "in Massachusetts, childcare providers should be more open to being fully educated on languages, making this a core subject in the education field would shift our community. My everyday life has shifted since educating myself about other languages and cultures."
Kyra, a student in the electrical program shared, "I aspire to become an electrician and knowing a second language or at least having a foundation will allow me to communicate easier with clients."
Both students study Spanish at Nashoba Tech. Amy St. Arnaud is the Spanish teacher.
