Biotechnology is learning about gram staining. A technique used to classify bacteria by telling us about the structure of the cell wall. This allows a doctor to properly diagnose a bacterial infection.


Veterinary Science students are learning how to groom dogs. Using hydraulic tubs & tables, students make sure the water temp is just right & use lick pads with flavored treats to create a fear free environment. Once cleaned the dogs are harnessed for drying & nail trimming.

Check out what Students in the Engineering shop are working on. One student has been designing & manufacturing an electric guitar. Using a CAD program, the student 3D modeled & generated the code to machine the guitar body.



Students in the Dental Assisting shop worked on completing anatomical and geometric charts. They had to identify and find the tooth numbers and various tooth surfaces on the Manikin.

The Health Assisting Shop hosted a blood drive for the American Red Cross. Staff and students participated in the event.

Congratulations to Chef Capraro, Culinary Arts Instructor, for winning ProStart Educator of the Year. The nomination was made by her students.


The Culinary Arts Shop competed in the MRA Prostart Competition at Gillette Stadium. The team took 2nd Place out of 16 teams. They were awarded Best Appetizer and Senior Caden Adams won Best Knife Skills.





The Spring Sports Meeting has been rescheduled from last night to this evening (3/15) at 6pm in the Viking Forum. Please park in the Performing Arts Center lot, use the St. Mary's Rd entrance, and enter through the Performing Arts Center Doors. The Viking Forum is just up the hallway past the auditorium. We will have a general meeting with everyone, and then the individual sports will break out with the coaches. We should be done by about 7:15.


Nashoba Tech's award winning Culinary Art students are preparing for the Taste of Nashoba Valley on March 21st. Stop by their booth to taste their non-traditional Korean appetizer and dessert creations. Along with the appetizer and dessert entries, they are also competing in the presentation category.
