Congratulations to Chef Capraro, Culinary Arts Instructor, for winning ProStart Educator of the Year. The nomination was made by her students.
The Culinary Arts Shop competed in the MRA Prostart Competition at Gillette Stadium. The team took 2nd Place out of 16 teams. They were awarded Best Appetizer and Senior Caden Adams won Best Knife Skills.
The Spring Sports Meeting has been rescheduled from last night to this evening (3/15) at 6pm in the Viking Forum. Please park in the Performing Arts Center lot, use the St. Mary's Rd entrance, and enter through the Performing Arts Center Doors. The Viking Forum is just up the hallway past the auditorium. We will have a general meeting with everyone, and then the individual sports will break out with the coaches. We should be done by about 7:15.
Nashoba Tech's award winning Culinary Art students are preparing for the Taste of Nashoba Valley on March 21st. Stop by their booth to taste their non-traditional Korean appetizer and dessert creations. Along with the appetizer and dessert entries, they are also competing in the presentation category. MIAA Preliminary Tourney Games - 3/1
Varsity Hockey will be traveling to play Belchertown HS. Their Game will be at 5:30pm at the Smead Arena - 1780 Roosevelt Ave - in Springfield, MA. If you're looking to take the ride out, the gate fees are $7 for adults (no senior citizen discount), $5 Students, Children 6 and under are free (CASH ONLY)! Please leave your noise makers, posters, pom poms, air horns, etc at home for this game. It might scare away the dragons that live out that way ;) The winner of this game will go on to play Winthrop on Thursday at 4pm at the Larsen Rink in the Round of 32

Registration will be open through Friday 3/10. Student Athletes MUST have an updated physical uploaded into FamilyID and have been approved before practices begin on 3/20 in order to start tryouts. If your athlete has already participated in a sport this year, and their physical expires mid-season, the expectation is that you upload a new one into the system. Can't wait to see everyone out on the fields!!
