WESTFORD – More than 40 employers attended a Career Fair at Nashoba Valley Technical High School that was co-hosted by MassHire Greater Lowell Workforce Board.
All students at Nashoba Tech participated in the Career Fair, which was held January 24 in the school’s gym.
Nashoba Tech Superintendent Dr. Denise Pigeon called the Career Fair “a resounding success thanks to the incredible partnership between Nashoba Valley Technical High School and the MassHire Greater Lowell Workforce Board.”
“Our students gained invaluable insights into a wide range of career paths available right here in our community,” Pigeon added. “Freshmen were able to explore potential career options before finalizing their technical program selections, while upperclassmen connected with employers regarding externships, co-op placements and future employment opportunities. We are especially proud that 100 percent of our students participated in this important event.
“We are excited to continue this partnership and make this Career Fair a flagship annual event that benefits our students and the local community for years to come."
