KYLI SCHWARTZ AND CORY PREHL  ARE MAY STUDENTS OF THE MONTH

WESTFORD — Kyli Schwartz of Shirley and Cory Prehl of Ayer are the May Students of the Month at Nashoba Tech.

Kyli Schwartz, daughter of Derek Schwartz and Sharon Durno, recently completed her junior year in the Cosmetology program. She is an honor-roll student and plays soccer for the Vikings. She plans to become either a game warden or a police officer in a K-9 unit.

Kyli was nominated by Cosmetology Instructor Donna McMahon, who wrote: “Kyli comes in every day with a smile on her face and ready to work. Kyli is also very sweet, polite and respectful to teachers and peers. She has great character and spreads positivity to everyone around her.”

Prehl Studentof Month
Cory Prehl, son of Chris and Kim Prehl, recently completed his sophomore year in the Hospitality Management program. He is a member of Nashoba Tech’s SkillsUSA and DECA teams, earning a leadership spot in the DECA International Career & Development Conference in Orlando, Fla., this past spring. Cory participates in several community-service projects as a student in Hospitality Management, including various contests and helping to serve lunch at local senior centers.

Cory plans to attend college to study Hotel Management. He was nominated by Math Instructor Jaclyn LeRoy, who wrote: “Cory is always friendly and helpful to staff and students alike. He takes the time to show around freshmen and takes pride in his academics, always staying after school to better himself. I can’t think of a better example of all that we should hope a Nashoba Tåçech student can be.”
