WESTFORD — Jenna Thompson of Littleton and Kyle Snow of Leominster have been selected as April’s Athletes of the Month at Nashoba Tech.
Jenna Thompson, daughter of Peter and Marya Thompson, is a junior track-and-field star for the Vikings who is also a standout in academics and Culinary Arts. She is captain of the spring track team, and her specialties are the 100-meter hurdles and the 400-meter hurdles. She was named MVP last spring.
Jenna is a high-honors student who has been inducted into both the National Honor Society and the National Technical Honor Society. She is a member of Mock Trial, Newspaper Club, Horticulture Club and cross-country team, and is a Kick-Off Mentor, helping incoming freshmen acclimate themselves to high school. She plans to attend college after graduating, hopefully the Culinary Institute of America to study Molecular Gastronomy.
Kyle Snow, son of Mike Snow and Deb Vitone, is a senior lacrosse player who “anchors the defense,” according to coach John Paolilli. “Kyle is a leader. He prepares himself and his teammates to give their best in every game. Kyle has been a pleasure to coach. He’s willing to learn and adapt to changing situations,” Paolilli added.
Kyle is an honor-roll student who also plays golf and hockey for the Vikings. He works in the plumbing field for Chelmsford-based Eric C. Foster Plumbing & Heating, through Nashoba Tech’s Cooperative Education program, and plans to continue working there full time after graduation.
