 May's Students of the Month at Nashoba Tech


Brittney Stumpf


 Brittney Stumpf, daughter of Bob and Linda Stumpf, is a 2014 graduate in the Early Childhood Education program. Brittney is an honor-roll student and a member of the Future Educators Association. She works at the Ayer Kiddie Depot and plans to continue her education at Mt. Wachusett Community College and Franklin Pierce University, then become a teacher of children with special needs. Brittney was nominated by Early Childhood Education Instructor Colleen Hogan-Mazzola, who wrote: "Brittney has grown remarkably this past year. She has worked had to improve all her grades in her academic subjects while maintaining excellent grades in Early Childhood Education. She is a leader in the child-care center, planning and implementing activities for the toddler-age children that are engaging, educational and developmentally appropriate. After school, Brittney works in a child-care center, and her supervisors report that they are extremely happy with her work with the children. Brittney will also be the first member of her family to attend college and is very proud of this achievement."



 Stetson Lacombe


 Stetson Lacombe, son of Dennis and Lisa Lacombe, is a 2014 graduate in the Plumbing & Heating program. He is an honor-roll student who has played lacrosse during his time at Nashoba Tech. Stetson works in his field with a plumbing-and-heating company in Groton through the school's Cooperative Education/School to Career program. He plans to attend Roger Williams University in Bristol, R.I., to study Construction Management. . Stetson was nominated by  Plumbing & Heating Instructor Robert Brazeau, who wrote: "Stetson, in his own quiet way, continues to perform at a very high level in both Plumbing & Heating and in theory. He has been on Co-op now for 2½ years and has received high accolades from his employer."
