Student Council

OUR MISSION:
The Nashoba Valley Technical High School Student Council is a group comprised of high school student leaders that wish to make a difference in their school community.  General membership is open to ALL STUDENTS.  Additionally, the Student Council strives to have student leaders from other club and athletic groups collaborate and work together on large scale events, activities, and fundraisers.  In that regard, certain Student Council meetings throughout the year are "closed" to the general membership and will instead be held as a forum for our executive board members along with those of other clubs and sport team representatives to come together and meet with administrative support and advisors.  The goals of the group are to inspire school spirit, organize events, encourage community service, and create a fun and welcoming school environment.

The Class Officers consist of President, Vice President, Treasurer, and Secretary. The class officers are selected through a competitive application and interview process. The class officers are responsible for planning fun events, implementing fundraisers, disseminating information to their classmates, and to be the point people for the needs and wants of their respective Class. Events managed by the class officers vary from year to year but past events have included: Homecoming Dance, Spirit Week, College Fair, Pep Rally, and Prom. A major goal of each Class is to raise money through various fundraisers so that the class has ample money for senior year activities. Most importantly, the Class Officers work together with other class officers to promote a sense of positive school spirit throughout Nashoba Tech.
