The past year has seen about as many dogs and cats pass through Nashoba Tech as students. The Angell @ Nashoba Veterinary Clinic opened in February 2016, and in its first year in operation, the clinic, led by Dr. Laurence Sawyer, treated more than 1,000 pets, from as far away as Fall River, Springfield and Stoughton. About 68 percent have been dogs, and the rest cats (except for an occasional bunny).

The Mock Trial team at Nashoba Valley Technical High School has had a successful season in courtroom competitions against other local high schools at local courthouses. The team is made up of, from left, Elizabeth Morgan (freshman, Pepperell), Yessenia Gamez (junior, Ayer), Nicholas House (senior, Shirley), Jenna Thompson (junior, Littleton), Robin Taylor (junior, Littleton) and Rebecca Metcalf (junior, Shirley). The team’s advisers are Nathan Kelly and Galen Brew.
